10 INDUSTRY 4.0 WILL FAIL WITHOUT RELIABILITY EXCELENCE PRACTICE - Many industry looking forward to adapt industry 4.0 strategy with good set of believe that improvement can be achieved with it. However, not many are aware that this strategy would be fail without best practices of reliability. This session will discuss on strategy of reliability practices on how to minimize failures, what requires by a company to do culture changes in adapting this strategy and most important is on how to be ready in receiving early warning of failure. By end of this presentation, hope it will help us to not overlooked on looking the reality of the situation. 11 REMOTE MONITORING AND DIAGNOSTICS - Bently Nevada, as a world-leader in asset protection and condition monitoring, has 60+ years of condition monitoring experience, 140+ expert machinery diagnostic engineers, 15,000+ machine diagnostics projects completed and over 4 million sensors installed worldwide. MYUNG-SUNG KANG Senior Engineer - Field Application, Baker Hughes GE MAIN HALL tba
12 UNDERSTANDING AND MANAGING VARNISH IN ROTATING EQUIPMENT - Varnish is a thin, hard, carbonaceous material which is a by-product of lubricant oxidation. It forms a layer on equipment surfaces and causes a reduction of clearances between machine components. Effects of varnish include control valve seizure, fluid flow interference and disrupted hydrodynamic film production, among others. It is generally accepted that varnish will increasingly impose a problem to rotating equipment operation, due to the need for longer operating cycles, higher capacities and extended lubricant drains. BAKAR AGIL, Technical Advisor, CHEVRON MALAYSIA MAIN HALL tba
13 DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION OF ASSETS MONITORING - Digital Transformation, Industrial Internet of things (IIOT), Industry 4.0, Big Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning. These are but some of the current trends and buzz words that is sweeping over many of our industries today. Advancement of vibration monitoring systems, solutions and products have also been keeping pace with this huge industry wave. This paper will examine how Emerson’s development of vibration monitoring products and solutions are changing and keeping pace with the current Digital Transformation wave.
